Fred's Camp has now been in operation for over 80 years. We have had the pleasure of operating Fred's Camp and Cottages for three generations. Our Oma and Opa, Robert and Lotte Lautenschlager, purchased the property in 1988. Since then, the Lautenschlager family has continuously worked on improving this beautiful location.

Fred's Camp overlooks the crystal waters of Lake Kagawong, the second largest lake on Manitoulin. We are very centrally located on the island, making exploring easier! Manitoulin Island's attractions include, hiking trails, beaches, restaurants, horseback riding, golf courses, and more.
